Privacy Policy

Draft for owner and legal review. This is working launch copy for a Pakistani SaaS. It is not final legal advice and should be signed off by the owner and counsel before it is treated as binding.

Overview

This draft explains how OrderSwift handles personal information when sellers run a shop on the platform and when buyers place orders on those shops. OrderSwift is the platform operator. Each seller is an independent merchant. A buyer who orders from a shop is that seller's customer.

Information we collect

Seller accounts

When you create a seller account we collect your name, email address, and password. If you open a store we also store the shop name, slug, logo, WhatsApp number, theme, catalog, pages, and the settings you save.

Buyers and orders

When a buyer checks out we collect the name, phone number, delivery address, and optional email they enter, plus the products, quantities, coupon, shipping choice, and order notes. Most shop orders are cash on delivery. OrderSwift does not charge the buyer's card for those orders. The seller collects payment from the buyer under their own arrangement.

Subscription payment screenshots

Paid plans are confirmed by a manual review. A seller may upload a screenshot of a bank transfer, EasyPaisa payment, or similar proof, along with notes about that payment. We use the screenshot only to verify the subscription request. It can contain account names, amounts, and partial account numbers that the seller chose to include.

Scripts a seller adds

Sellers can add storefront scripts, including a Meta Pixel and other analytics tags. Those scripts run in the buyer's browser on that shop and can send page and event data to Meta or another provider under the seller's own account. OrderSwift hosts the script the seller saved. We do not operate the seller's ad account, and we do not create Meta ad campaigns from the workspace.

Technical data

We keep basic logs needed to run and protect the service: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and security events. The seller workspace also stores product, order, and report data the seller generates.

How we use information

  • To host the seller account, storefront, catalog, and orders
  • To show the seller their orders, invoices, POS receipts, and reports
  • To email service messages such as verification, order notices, and subscription updates
  • To review subscription payment screenshots
  • To investigate abuse, fraud, and faults

We do not sell personal information.

Who else sees it

The seller can see the buyer and order details for their own shop. Buyers see the shop the seller published. Staff who operate OrderSwift can access account and order data when needed for support, billing review, or security. Hosting, email, and error-monitoring providers process data on our instructions so the service can run.

A script the seller installs may send data directly from the buyer's browser to that script's provider. That sharing is the seller's responsibility, and the seller should tell buyers about it on their shop.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect sellers, buyers, or the platform from harm.

How long we keep it

We keep seller accounts and shop records while the account is open, and for a limited period after closure so orders, invoices, and billing disputes can still be resolved. Payment screenshots are kept with the subscription request they belong to. Security logs are kept only as long as they are useful for operations and abuse prevention.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Access to the seller workspace is limited to the account holder and people we authorize for support. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Your choices

Sellers can update their profile and store details in the workspace and can ask us to close an account. Buyers who want an order corrected or deleted should contact the seller first, because the seller is the merchant. You can also contact OrderSwift using the email, phone, or WhatsApp number published on our contact page.

We do not aim this service at children, and seller shops should not be used to collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and, where it is reasonable, notify sellers by email or in the workspace.

Contact

Privacy questions can be sent through the contact form or to the support email, phone, and WhatsApp number shown on the OrderSwift contact page.
